Guys,
Well, I did it this time - I woke up early, got the souzy out to get ready for a concert tomorrow, got it all assembled, music set up to practice, etc., and I, well, can't explain this one away: I tripped over it getting in a hurry to get to work on time. Nothing "broke" about the fiberglass, but the fiberglass bell cleanly separated from the brass tenon.
Is this something I can reattach myself (I don't mean just slipping it back in the tenon, but, you know, fixing it properly), or should I invoke the tuba version of the William Tell Overture - "To the tech, to the tech, to the tech, tech, tech"?
Thanks.

Re: Fiberglass Bell - Brass Tenon Separated
Bloke,
Just got home from work. I appreciate the advice. I will repair it in this manner. I'll play my tuba for the gig tomorrow and do what you said tomorrow afternoon so it will be ready for next time, as work was heavy today so that I could get everything done to enjoy the weekend gigs.

I guess I wasn't clear - the entire bell came clean off the tenon.
