Going Rate on Silverplating a Horn?

Can anyone estimate the cost of taking a worn satin silver 4/4 BBb tuba and either silver plating it, lacquering it, or restoring the satin finish? No dents on the horn.

Any recommendations on where to have it done?

Bloke,
This is an almost brand new horn, 1 year old. The horn has no dents period. It may have a couple of small scratches, so I guess its not perfect. The problem is that the original factory satin finish had a horrible accident at the hands of its current owner, and needs to be redone. Its basically raw metal now except for a few spots. I just wanted to get an idea of what it would cost to restore and if other finishes would be cheaper.

YIKES  ... NOT me :!: not tubas and sousas, anyway. I've been known to send trumpets off for re-silvering but I don't do any refinishing on things as big as tubas. I don't have the equipment. The best I could do is send the whole she-bang to Anderson's after the modifications are done. BTW, the last trumpet I had resilvered cost the customer about $300. You can imagine what it would cost to tank a tuba... not including preparation charges.
