Stolen out of a van in Indy on Nov 17 or 18.... Silver HB6. If you have any info call, text, or email me and I'll pass it along directly to the detective on the case.

If it's the person that I think you are talking about Dan, I believe the instrument has found it's way home. Do you have any updates?

Michael... I do not know who owned the horn. A friend of mine works for the Marion County Sheriff's department and called me on the 18th and asked that I keep an eye out for it.
If you have definitive information please call me Monday after 8am Central time. 812-457-2284

The HB6 was revcovered Friday night November 20. A "gentleman" came into Sam Ash Music in Indianapolis Friday evening to see if they were interested in buying the tuba. They called the police. The owner has his HB6 back, undamaged from what I understand, and the perp is now a resident of the Marion County lockup. Happy ending for all except the perp.

Dan, this afternoon I verified with the owner's son, who I did my undergrad with, and planned to call you on my way home this evening. The thieves don't seem to understand that the music world is a rather small one in which everybody knows everybody. I hope he enjoys his stay in the joint.

I hope this is treated as severely as car theft because the HB6 is worth more than a lot of cars.
