odd request here...

I'm looking for parts for bassoon, trombone 2 & 3, baritone bass clef and bari sax for Chicago Tribune, arr Roberts. The copies in our library are unreadable. I purchased the arrangement currently for sale on J.W. Pepper and, well, it's not compatible. Actually, it's complete crap and the worst thing I've seen on a music stand in about 25 years.

If you have copies of these parts you could scan and send to me please PM me. Thanks!

How soon do you need them? I'm on tour right now, but could check around the 10th.

There is a transcription of "Chicago Tribune March" on bandmusicpdf.org that might work for you.

Somebody must have the old Carl Fischer "Pass In Review" books, (Chicago Tribune is included). Is the Roberts arrangement that different?

The "Chicago Tribune March" that's included in the Pass in Review IS the Roberts arrangement.

I have an 'almost complete' set of those folios EXCEPT for the bassoon and bari sax parts. Drop me an email if I can help.

The Chicago Tribune March in the Pass In Review Book is indeed the Charles Roberts version.
It is a specious arrangement and unrecognizable when compared to Chambers' original, which is one of the very best marches of all time.
Get a copy of the original, transpose the D-flat piccolo parts and the Eb Alto Horn parts to F. There are whole phrases missing from the Fischer edition; it is awful.

PM me and I'll GIVE you a set of parts in pdf format.
