Stolen: Mirafone 186 L.A. Area

I'm posting this for one of my California State University Fullerton students:
Make: Mirafone
Serial Number: 10271
Model: 186(5V)
CSUF Asset #: 45423
There is white tape on the first valve slide due to a leak in the pipe. it is in a black case, which may also have a marcinkiewicz W3 mouthpiece in the case as well.
Please contact me if you have any leads to the whereabouts of this instrument.

threads like these remind me why we still have the death penalty
of course california doesn't, but I'm sure they'd be willing to make an exception(s)

Blast a PM to ALL the music stores you can think of and hit up all the repair techs. Also keep an eye on Craigslist and Ebay for the horn.

Put someone to death because they stole something? seems legit...
It is likely to discourage repeat offenders.

Always sorry to hear of a tuba theft but instantly wonder: HOW ? Was it left out in the open? Did the thief break into a home, a school, a car?

This response kind of makes me want a GIF of a thief trying to make off with his cumbersome loot - a tuba in a hard case.
