Hi all, my new (used) york eb came in today, and A was wondering if the bell is able to be repaired? Any thoughts? Thanks!

Thanks for the comments. With all that being said, is it worth it to invest the money into getting the bell repaired? If so, do you all know of any good repairmen in the southwestern part of Florida? Thanks!

Re: York eb tuba bell repair
I have a similar York Eb which plays well with a small shank Dennis Wick mouthpiece. These horns are worth the modest repair job that is needed based on the pictures.
I agree with the previous post about York bell brass being subject to cracking. Many of these older Yorks have small bell cracks. The cracks do not seem to affect the sound in the examples I have seen.
