Anyone going? There seems to be less buzz this year (not that there is a lot of buzz normally).

I figured you guys (i.e. folks with wares to sell) would be there. I meant us common folk (TNFJ) 8)

I'll be there. The wife wanted to go, but the annual ladies trip at work will have the management team in Jamaica this year, so she'll miss out. I said she could always pass up a free, all inclusive trip to Jamaica to hang out with me. She laughed.....

I plan to go for the first time since we moved to Texas. I'm trying to talk my wife into going. My son, Chris, is a grad. student at GMU, so we'll get to hang together. My nephew, lives in Fairfax, so we have a place to hang for the Super Bowl on Sunday too before flying back to Austin.

But don't expect too much of the last hour or two. When things start to slow down, the vendors will usually get a bit of a head start one what is really a mad dash to pack up so they can get their inventory back home for Monday. Check it out earlier, and if there's something you want to spend time with towards closing on Saturday, work it out with the vendor.

If my back allows me to pick up and play horns, I intend to be there on Saturday.

Wessex Tubas will have our largest booth ever and plan to take the following horns;

EP100 Dolce Euphonium
ER120 Kaiser Baritone
TF135 Bubbie 5 F/Eb travel tuba (New model)
TB160 Mighty Midget BBb tornister
TC161 Mighty Gnome CC tornister
CR91 Eb cimbasso
TE465 Gnagey front action Eb (new model)
TE495 Danube rotary Eb (New model)
TC595 Wyvern 5/4 CC (prototype)
TB575 Luzern 5/4 5-valve rotary BBb
TB570 Excelsior Compensated BBb
TB490 Prague pocket Kaiser BBb
TB580 Michigan 5/4 BBb
TE360 Bombino 3/4 Eb
TB330 Junior Bb
TB340 Mosel 3/4 rotary BBb tuba
TF435 Berg F tuba
TF545 Strauss F tuba
BR140 Compensated Baritone
BR115 Front Bell Baritone (New model)
SP28 Eb sousaphone
OC12 C Ophicleide

The star will no doubt be the new Wyvern CC - I have been playing myself this last week and wow, I have at last found a substitute for my beloved Neptune!

BTW I know many people pass by Wesssex thinking they can't be any good, if Chinese made. Well we believe if you actually try, you will change your mind. So as little incentive, we will be giving-away very nice pen/stylus/torch to anyone that stops by at the booth and gives Wessex horns a proper play test.
