The Gruber has a GREAT part for the tuba (2 or 3 solos and plenty of other moments too) and all the brass section of the Philadelphia Orchestra. The piece is based on a couple of bars of a quoted Johann Strauss piece, Perpetuum mobile, Op. 257, that you'll recognize right away at the beginning of the work.....
