Thumbsup to the NYPO

Thanks to the NYPO for putting up recordings of broadcasts.
Personally, these sound better than the overengineered recordings that frequently populate the music store shelves.
Case in point:
Currently there is a Stuass-fest recording on there. You only need listen to around the 6 minute 15 second mark. What a great chord! The balance is perfect. Much better than when you get the disc that some engineer dude move some sliders around.
I encourage everyone to check out the recordings they make available. I know that Mr. Baer has promo'd them before, but every week something new goes up. Even if Mr. Baer isn't in the mix, the music making and the sound is fantastic.
