The serious answer to this question is, it depends. The factors to consider are you, your horn, what you are playing, your budget, and maybe where you are playing. There maybe other things too. Some of us have gone through a mouthpiece safari, which is time consuming and expensive. Another option is to go to one of the conferences and try a bunch of mouthpieces with your horn. Some suppliers like Giggings and Webster or Mouthpiece Express, will let you try a mouthpiece for a few days and send it back if you don't like it. There is usually a stocking fee. You could call Joe Sellmansberger and talk to him. He will give you good advice on something that will work for you. I suspect Mike Finn or Lee Stofer would do the same.

So, the summary is the best mouthpiece is the one that works for you. Our opinion is irrelevant.
