36 J and 2X J Bell

Post by bigboymusic »

Are 36J Bells and 2XJ bells interchangeable. At least are the collars the same size?

I think (since I've purchased the 36 from lost) I'm going to go ahead and purchase a bell from Kanstul. I'm going to see if I can get closer to a 19/20 inch bell than the huge flairs of the older Conn bells.

That said, any ideas on which material to go with from Kanstul?

Yes. I figured probably just yellow with silver plate to match the body. I know you can get he 'York' blend as well, but I'm still on the fence as to whether or not that makes that big of a change.....
