Grading makes no difference, and there seems to be no universal standard.

I would suggest not shopping for music based on its grade (much like I suggested when you asked about the Canadain Brass stuff). As I also said previously, I'd rather hear a flawless grade 1 than a hacked through grade 999999999.


As for a recording: Ron Davis' Solo Pro: Tuba tape has it.

By the way...the transcription is from a cello suite. I'd suggest doing a little research along those lines...

Hickey's has overgraded this piece. Based on the descriptions of grades for their system, it should be a 5. A good high school player should be able to play this piece
