Recently, I decided to buy a Wessex Luzern. I'm so glad I did. Ten years ago, I'd never imagine I would be playing a BBb as my contrabass tuba, but now I have no desire to switch back to CC (unless somebody wants to give me their Rudy...) If anyone is on the fence about buying one of these, just do it. You'll be glad you did.
Here is a little sample of me playing the sarabande from Bach's first cello suite. I have a few rusty spots but you can get a feel for the great sound of this instrument. Wessex Luzern BBb playing Bach: https://youtu.be/vMuT8FYy7PI" target="_blank" target="_blank
I'll eventually put one of these up with my Berg f tuba as well. Thanks for listening!
