Wow.
I'm sure that Saxophones would sound real good made out that stuff. Just flick your fingernail against a titanium bike frame sometime: if you can remember that sound, and compare the sound of doing that to a good bell, you may come to a "guess" as to how that horn MIGHT sound.
Just a thought.
Skeptically yours,

I'm selling 10 tubas made of dry ice. $1000 each, ...
... while they last...

I'm selling three tubas, an AAb in thallium, nice tone, but you have to wear EPA hazmat gear to play it; can cause cancer.
I also have an F# in plutonium. A side benefit is that you glow in the dark while playing it.
And finally, I have a DDb in potassium--good player, but you need to keep it away from air and moisture, or it may spontaneously combust.

Argon tubas for sale here! You wouldn't believe how light these babies are (your overseas shipping woes are over) and storage is a piece of cake. Vapors can cause dizziness or suffocation so be sure to use in a well ventilated area. Oh! --there is a wee little possibility that contact with liquid could cause frostbite so we include a free umbrella with every tuba purchased.

That will work for me. But act fast because for a short time I'm throwing in free shipping on the Argon tubas!
