A couple of old helicons and a rotary oval euphonium.
Interesting group.

Fanfare Ciocărlia. There's a lot more Balkan brass out there for you, though these guys are at the top of the pile. They may have been to your town, they do some touring. Seems to me Romanian bands like this often have two tubas if they can, and a generally larger band. The Serbians on the other hand may get by on one bass helicon, but may have more interesting percussion; for one of the best individual bass tuba players in the genre, look for Sasha Alisanovic, used to play for Boban Markovic. The Eb helicon looks a little like Cerveny/Amati/etc., no idea about the BBb.

I am going to hear them tonight in Boston.
Psyched! Great band.
Plus, it's a bargain!
$25 (half what the Mnozil tix ran, and twice as many guys!)
Anyone local should try to check them out.

A couple years ago when they came here, I was in a band that played on the bill with them - your band is too good, though, might upstage them! They put on a good show, though, with some good tuba features.
Earplugs might be a good thing to have with you, just in case - they weren't super loud here, but might depend somewhat on the venue. A guy who worked sound for one of the visiting bands - I think this was actually Kočani Orkestar - said they're all pretty hard of hearing, so if they're calling the shots on sound level you're in trouble.
