Hello fellow and wise tubists,
I'm im the market for a nice 5/4 CC tuba. At the university that I play I was on a 186 but is too small, can't get the sound I believe that can support the orchestra.
Being the poor student that I am I only have in the 5000-6000$ range to spend because o have been saving up for a while.
My options were the Wisemann(Mack) or the new wayvrn(wessex)...
But now I have come across a "Thor" copy from Thomann..
https://m.thomann.de/gb/thomann_grand_f ... 1462084093" target="_blank
And I was wondering if anyone had any information regarding this model and thomann as a company.
This looks like the better option because it has what I need at a lower price (still a lot tho).
So I anyone could dish out some information on the Thomann Thor copy I would gladly appreciate it.
P.s. I know that these are all Chinese horns and that many people don't like them but I would prefer this not turn into one of those Chinese vs none Chinese horn posts...
