It is real (at least for us). We should celebrate this brother and sister hood that we have because of the tuba! Music is one of the most important things that we as humans engage in. I tell my students and my faculty about this day because it is a positive thing in the world and I mean that from my heart! I teach in neuroscience and statistics and always tell my students that music is as important as the sciences.

My best to all that play the tuba (and to all musicians)!

Hug a tuba player Friday!!!!

My professor at Millersville U of PA, Sy Brandon, wrote the booklets with the songs. Every year we had a celebration on campus, sort of like a tubachristmas in May. We often had clinicians in and special concerts too. Lots of great tuba days!

I thought every day was Tuba Day!!
