A big shout out to bloke for the 188 I got from him a couple of weeks ago. His repair work on this tuba is extremely well done. I would not have imagined the bell could have been repaired so smoothly, while having retained its proper shape, without scratching, lacquer removal or buffing. The dent removal in the body was also done very well; it could not have been easy to remove the dents on and around the bottom bow guard. The tuba plays great, and I'm happy to have this light construction, older 188 in the tool chest. It won't replace the Ursus, which I use in almost every situation, but it's the right tool in many circumstances.
