I'll post a proper FS ad in the next day or two... but they are .835 silver, 33 mm (~1.3 inches), and weigh 20 g (about 0.7 oz). A little bigger than a US half dollar.

If you want to add real value to your instrument, coins may not be the answer.
Get your self a set of 4 of the largest bill you can afford.
Wrap one around each paddle and fasten with rubber bands.

Right, that seems to me like a much better way than solder. Especially for someone like me with minimal solder skill, I hate soldering objects like coins that soak up a lot of heat.
