Any old horn needed in Los Angeles

Hello tubenetters around LA!
I was asked by my old band to record a few tunes this Saturday when I'm in town for other business. This being free and all, I really don't wanna ship either my 100+ yr old antique 3/4 or my 3 mo old Mack Brass 4/4 from Pittsburgh to LA for about an hour of free work.
I know I can likely find a rental outfit (HornGuys are the bestest but expensive I'll wager) but would first like to try a friendly tubenetter willing to lend me a horn for a while.
A band director have an old Sousa? Have a student 3/4 beater laying around? BBb, CC?
I can leave a deposit or work something out if needed - or come with me and it to the session?! Hear the old girl in action!!
Thanks for any help!
