Top bow dents are good thumbholds!
Front action for school bands is great if you are selling valve stems and finger buttons.

Band directors like those YBB 201/321 tubas because they are built like tanks, are consistent and play well with a big vanilla sound that blends well in concerts bands.
You said yourself that kids will tear up anything. Doesn't really matter if the tubas are top action piston, front action piston or rotary....clumsy kids will damage them.
There needs to be more taught responsibility to take better care of instruments.

You will enjoy this - while listening to one of the local Chicago drive time liberal radio talk jocks Wed. he started going on and on about how the Memphis Police were on the hunt for some woman who had stolen a stripper pole. He then went on at great length how this was the big crime down in Memphis and we all should move down there to avoid the violent crime in Chicago.bloke wrote:another cop shot (just grazed, this time) in Memphis today...
They just buried one a few days ago.
I think people who still live in Memphis should consider moving to someplace safer - like Baghdad.
Another clueless talking head.
