Carl Fischer brand instruments

Is anyone aware of a reliable means for estimating the age of a 'Carl Fischer' brand natural horn? Unreliable guesses also welcome.
The engraving on the bell reads "Carl Fischer New York" and, stamped 180 degrees from the engraving, is "Made in Italy" in very tiny letters. No serial number that I know of. I only have the Eb crook, but it is a fun way to make a racket.
