The article also said the tuba is 40 pounds. Could this be accurate? I don't think an unbalanced load of 40 pounds would be good for your shoulder, spine, posture, or disposition.

When he woke at 7 on Tuesday morning, he walked to his car parked in the alley behind his Minneapolis house. The rear driver’s side window was smashed in, glass shards on the empty seat where he’d left his tuba.

The tuba got recovered. The idiot who stole it tried to sell it at Schmidt Music.
