I have received my refurbished H.N. White King rotary 4 valve tuba. I purchased this instrument from Baltimore Brass and then had it shipped to Lee Stofer, where he refurbished it and I picked it up this past week. I have just started to enjoy playing it. More info to come.

Good grief, you are living right to get that kind of turnaround time.

Awesome!! Congratulations! If it were in CC, it might have been in Minneapolis right now.
But really, that's awesome, and I am very happy for you!

I actually got a chance to play that exact horn briefly while I was at Lee's shop a couple weeks ago. It has probably the prettiest sound of any horn I've played, and the valves were extremely smooth as well. I remember thinking "whoever buys this is gonna be very happy". Now I can see this is the case! Congrats on picking up a fantastic tuba.

Micheal, I purchased it in April when I return home to Montana. The folks at Baltimore Brass then shipped it to Lee in Iowa. Lee patiently worked on it as he was able and I just picked it up from him this past week Tuesday 12 July and then drove back to Montana - 1140 miles give or take - and arrived home on Wednesday night 13 July. Well worth the wait.
