Bradenton is a fun meet. Make sure to get your Windjammers membership soon to make sure you get an 'invite'. Hotel reservations at The Marriot in Bradenton might not be a problem but the latest date to register is usually in early December. You'll need a membership in place no later than September.

That's fine but I was speaking more about the Windammers membership and event registration. One member used to drive a large motorhome down from Ohio and park in on The Marriot property.

Yes, on tuba. The membership roster lists me on euphonium for some reason, but I've never played euphonium at a Windjammers meet.

I'll watch for you in the back row!

I've made the Winter meets for the last six years but this will only be the 2nd Summer meet I've been to. I went to Oskaloosa three years ago... Lincoln two years ago... but couldn't make the Springfield meet last Summer. This may be the last Summer meet I can get to for a few more years. My community band attends a regional band festival this Saturday and it usually interferes with Windjammers.

I'm checking on it, Wade.

Neither the librarian or one of the principle conductors at Windjammers have heard of "Charlie Chaplin Walk". Try contacting Richard Whitmarsh of the North Shore Concert Band directly.

You Tubenetters are missing a great time! 100 plus piece band with 7 tubas. Concert tonight at 7pm at The Ringling Mansion and two concerts Saturday at Circus World Museum. Lots of notes! There's not much counting rests in this music.
