Any TubaNetters going to 'Windjammers' in Baraboo next week?
Bradenton is a fun meet. Make sure to get your Windjammers membership soon to make sure you get an 'invite'. Hotel reservations at The Marriot in Bradenton might not be a problem but the latest date to register is usually in early December. You'll need a membership in place no later than September.Stryk wrote:We couldn't make Wisconson work out this year - but do plan on being in Bradenton in January.

That's fine but I was speaking more about the Windammers membership and event registration. One member used to drive a large motorhome down from Ohio and park in on The Marriot property.Stryk wrote: We were going to bring our motorhome down and stay in it - we travel with our two dogs, and avoid hotels!
I'll be there!Dan Schultz wrote:Any TubaNetters going to 'Windjammers' in Baraboo next week?

Yes, on tuba. The membership roster lists me on euphonium for some reason, but I've never played euphonium at a Windjammers meet.Dan Schultz wrote:On tuba?knarfman wrote:I'll be there!Dan Schultz wrote:Any TubaNetters going to 'Windjammers' in Baraboo next week?

I'm checking on it, Wade.the elephant wrote:Dan, could you put me in touch with the librarian for this band? I am in sore need of a piece entitled "The Charlie Chaplin Walk". It is from 1970 and is by Wolfson and Warrington.
Neither the librarian or one of the principle conductors at Windjammers have heard of "Charlie Chaplin Walk". Try contacting Richard Whitmarsh of the North Shore Concert Band directly.Dan Schultz wrote:I'm checking on it, Wade.the elephant wrote:Dan, could you put me in touch with the librarian for this band?
