So, I worked on an Andreas Eastman euph the other day. It is the YEP 321 copy, in silver plate. The first valve circuit was completely detached from the valve knuckles, only held on by the brace connecting it to the bell. It appears the 1st valve circuit wasn't even soldered to the knuckles. I had to clean & solder it to the knuckles and to the bell brace. In fact, I found several places that were not even soldered, including the leadpipe-to-valve-cluster-joint, one outer slide leg of the 4th valve circuit, and I suspect the bottom bow wasn't soldered on one end of the ferrule. You can see where there is a very slight separation at the joint, but I'm not gonna try to tug on it and find out

There are other issues, such as bad threading on the 1st valve cap. The 3rd valve 'clacks' even with everything tightened, all felts there, etc.

Isn't 'Eastman' supposed to be a high-end Chinese brand? :|
I understand kids tear up school horns, but damn........at least try to solder all joints before the horn is finished :!:
