Hello Tubenetters,
I'm wrapping up my undergrad and was looking to get something cheap and fun to build my euphonium chops as a secondary instrument.
They're notorious for being utter garbage, and I was just curious if anyone out there has had a success story with them.
My standards are pretty low. As long as intonation and build quality (heaven forbid) are workable, even if some setup with a tech is required, I could care less about "professional tone quality." If it functions, and has the capacity to be played in tune, I will consider it.
The Amazon reviews are pretty good, but I'm not sure how many of those come from people who know what a good horn actually is. Feel free to trash the horn I suppose. I'd rather be convinced out of it if they really aren't worth it.

Re: Mendini Euphoniums
Thanks Mark, and great video/review. It's pretty refreshing to hear some positive things about the horns. I may be happy with one after all.
