Is any brand name company selling a Jinbao-made equivalent of a Conn 2J CC? Specs would be four front pistons, no 5th rotor, and a bore of .656" (maybe .689"). I don't believe Wessex Tubas or Mack Brass does - at least I couldn't find one on their websites.
No, I don't want to sell my Tubenet namesake (heavens, no). My wife and I have an insurance policy on some instruments we gig with, and the insurance company likes to see proof of new instruments available that are the same as what you've got, or reasonably close in price if yours isn't available anymore.
Just wondering, and thanks -

Can you not reference the currently available Conn 5J for this purpose?
It's new and (except for being BBb) is essentially the same as what you've got.
That seems like a lot closer than going to Yamaha 621 copies.

I had forgot that the Conn 5J is still being offered as a new horn, so that would make the best reference. Thanks for the suggestions.
