Need some local help - Seattle / New Orleans / ?

Hi

I'm coming out for a last minute private do in Seattle with my swing band, The Swing Ninjas (from Brighton, UK) - sax, guitar, double bass, tuba (or helicon) and keys.

I wanted to ask if anyone can help with finding us some other gigs, any contacts that you can recommend either in the Seattle / North West or in New orleans or surrounding area.

I realise it's tough to get a club gig late notice, but to be honest we'll play for free, it's just to find situations to play and showcase as we're there, and will be filming a little documentary. Also, perhaps live sessions for radio etc?

Any help would be really appreciated!

Cheers,
Bruce

Check out the venues on Frenchmen St. in New Orleans. I've played at Dragon's Den with my rock band but it may be too small of a stage for your group. Good luck!

Always tuba/helicon + bass - they work so well together, especially if the helicon plays like a trombone, but then you can double bass lines.

Our Tiger video is more objectifying that freaky clown. But he deserves it.

:)
