In my opinion a Great concert depends more on Great instrumentists (known or unknown) then in repertoire.
If I had the gift of telling right away if a new composition will be considered good or not it would be good...
There is always some risk involved in making such decisions, I guess...
I think something new and fresh is always good for a heathy audience...
