Jupiter 584 vs 1284 XO

Hi all, I am curious what the main difference of these two tubas are. I have heard both be played and there did not seem much of a difference sound. I am curious if anyone has played both of these horns or if anyone has insight on these tubas. I have a student who is considering one as their first CC tuba and asked me about them.
