Fort Wayne Audition today and tomorrow

Post by Sam Gnagey »

Best wishes for the more than 60 tuba players auditioning for my principal tuba job. I'm in no way involved. Having served on many audition committees in the past here my expectation is that it will be done fairly. My hope is that the most qualified candidate emerges as the winner. I look forward to hearing that person from my new seat in the upper balcony.

That's who they accepted... no telling how many applied!
Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

The orchestra is very nice, I heard it back when I was on a trip to evaluate and eventually purchase one of Sam's horns IIRC. Best of luck to the auditionees.
