Best wishes for the more than 60 tuba players auditioning for my principal tuba job. I'm in no way involved. Having served on many audition committees in the past here my expectation is that it will be done fairly. My hope is that the most qualified candidate emerges as the winner. I look forward to hearing that person from my new seat in the upper balcony.

The orchestra is very nice, I heard it back when I was on a trip to evaluate and eventually purchase one of Sam's horns IIRC. Best of luck to the auditionees.
