It's based on an old children's song called "I'm a little teapot". Perhaps you are struggling with the key signature. Try playing it in E-flat instead of E. You'll have to change some "accidentals" (really "intentional") from sharps to naturals and from naturals to flats. Once you get to know the tune and have mastered your E scale you will find it much easier to play in the original key.
