Tuba Shops in London?

Post by sousaphonehero »

Are there any places near London where I can go to try out lots of different tubas? (similar to Baltimore Brass or Dillon Music)
I am also going to be in Amsterdam and Paris so if there are any around there that would be helpful also.
Thanks

In London itself there is Phil Parker music shop - https://www.philparker.biz/" target="_blank. I don't know how many tubas they stock?

You are welcome to visit us at Wessex Tubas - only one hour on the train (out of Waterloo station) from London. Lot's to try here.

Amsterdam no.

You would have to go to Ittervoort, Roosendaal or Ijselmuide to try out more tubas of any worth.
As far as I know Paris isn't booming either but I could be very wrong about this.
Good luck.

Thanks for the help. I will try to stop by Wessex tubas if I can. I won't be leaving until June, so I have some time to plan.
