What to do with these cases?

For those of you that remember, my Willson 2900 was stolen some years back. It was never recovered.

I never replaced it because I've since moved on to tuba/bass gigs, and I might have made $500 on a $6,500 instrument.

Since the horn was stolen in its gig bag, I still have the hard case. Is it worth selling? It's pretty much unused; I'm sure the brochures are still inside it. What would that be worth? I found one site selling it new, for $560.

Also, Being in a very small place, my 5J hard case might also need to be taken off my hands. That one's banged up. I prefer my gig bag, anyway.

Thoughts?

Figure out what it would cost to ship it and then put it on ebay and see what happens.

Could you give us some interior dimensions?

Thanks

Yeah...the 2900 is an 11" bell; but I thought this case was interchangeable with the 2950? I guess I just figured the 1/2 inch didn't make much of a difference.

If I'm measuring internal dimensions, what am I measuring besides the bell? I'm actually getting ready to drop the case off in storage to get it out of under my feet right now, so I'll measure it on my way.

Someone already inquired about that case already, too! Now...is the beat-up 12J/5J case worth anything? I'm guessing with the need for hardware to be replaced, it probably isn't worth much?
