URGENT! I'm giving a euphonium recital on April 29th, and am looking for program notes on Howard Snell's "Oration". This is an outstanding work written for euphonium and brass band. There is a piano reduction (though I have it performed organ). If you haven't heard this piece - it's worth it! I also can't find his dates anywhere...anyone know when he was born?

Does anyone have Snell's e-mail or contact information? If so please let me know! TWScott283@hotmail.com

You might be able to contact him through Kirklees music, their details are on the page linked, an article about him.

I recorded Oration with Steven Mead and the Fairey band, it's a great piece, with some great low tuba parts! It was written as a funeral tribute for two friends I think.

Howard has moved quite a bit recently, I'm not sure if he is in France at the moment!
