I'm preparing for my oral comps and trying to assemble a list of the most historically and/or musically significant euphonium pieces. Suggestions?

I'd sure like to see that list when its compiled.
There are a few pieces that I think serious euphonium players should play: this includes the Lyric Suite (White), Introduction and Dance (Barat), Rhapsody for Euphonium (Curnow), Euphonium Concerto (Horowitz), Concerto for Euphonium (Jager), and of course many of the old cornet type solos (Thoughts of love - Pryor, Beautiful Colorado, etc).
This is by no means an extended list.

Would Fantasia by Gordon Jacob be significant for euphonium? I do like that piece though...

Since the French Tuba in C was a step above the euphonium in Bb, a case could be made for the Bydlo solo in Ravel's orchestration of Pictures.

What about pieces that weren't originally for euphonium but have been transposed? Do those count?
