Minor Scales for College Audition

The music school I'm auditioning for states this in the requirements for my audition.

"Two octave major, minor, and chromatic scales from memory (tongued or slurred)"

Do they mean just a two octave natural minor scales? Or do they mean natural, harmonic, and melodic minor scales?

You ought to win some point for asking them directly. If that's not possible, I would play a melodic minor.

Learning all of them is no more difficult than learning arithmetic tables (which, admittedly, most students today are not required to learn...but nonetheless...) and will be of great benefit to you.

Learn all three forms of the minor scales. You will eventually need them. College is not like high school. You will be expected to learn things more independently to make you a more self-sufficient person. To succeed you must be dedicated to many independent hours of reading, preparation and research as well as practice of your instrument. You will not be spoon-fed. College is boot camp to prepare you for the rest of your life.

Play 'em all down. If the asky for everything great you'll be prepared, if they only ask for one mode or another, great you'll be prepared. Most colleges (at least both of the ones I went to) have some sort of "Sophomore Qualifying" or "Scale Jury" Where they'll ask for a pile of technique things from memory (At UNL, it's all majors and minors. At IC it was Majors, Minors, 'rotations' (all modes basically) and arpeggios) the earlier you can get a start on that the better.
