We are in the process of completing up a new F-tuba mouthpiece for Alan Baer. Alan likes the CC tuba mouthpiece we designed so much he has requested that we design a complimentary F tuba mouthpiece for him as well. Unique to the new f tuba mouthpiece is the rim shape and size being identical to the CC tuba mouthpiece. However the cup is much shallower like our Churada, or a Bobo solo tuba mouthpiece. The exact throat dimensions are still being adjusted to Alan’s requirements, however it is close to .295 in diameter. The cup, and throat combined makes for a very nice sounding f tuba mouthpiece. The rim being exactly the same as the CC piece is really great for switching from one tuba to the next without changing how things feel on your face. We have put the new f tuba piece up on our website www.gwmouthpieces.com and we have made some changes to the website as well. We have also added a Harry Watters signature trombone mouthpiece.
