John Packer Euphoniums
Wondering if anyone has played the John Packer Euphoniums the JP274 & the JP374. Specifically does anyone have an opinion regarding one model versus the other. From what I can tell the 274 is yellow brass with an 11" bell while the 374 is gold brass with a 12" bell. The 374 costs more $$. Any opinions would be appreciated.

Re: John Packer Euphoniums
I've had my JP Sterling 374T for about a year. I think it plays well. I haven't had the chance to try or own a bunch of euphoniums, but my understanding from other people I've talked to is that it's like bloke says above - it's a Sovereign style horn. The trigger comes in handy for me on the Eb, E, and F above the staff.

He was a member of this forum but got angry and quit. He also had all of his previous posts deleted.
