Just wondering if by any chance anyone here have got any news of what's happening there. They advertised the job (in fact, a whole new orchestra/wind band) a few months back, with supposed auditions 'early march' and an inaugural concert in June. I applied long before the deadline, but I've yet to hear from them... My flatmate got a bugger off-letter about a month ago, and that is the only contact there seems to have been. Others seem to be rather disgrunteled as well, as discussions on musicalchairs and horncups.com show. Anyone out there know anything?

Yea, Ive got an audition and I know of a few others but its a bit strange as there is no accompanist provided and no excerpt list! As well as the dates changing a few times-most of the low brass auditions are on the 8th May.
