Big Thanks (Shout-out to chhite)

I hadn't intended on posting anything (mainly since I've continuously thanked Chris personally... repeatedly... annoyingly so...) but his work and dedication are just too fantastic for me to remain silent. I apologize if what I type somehow offends, humiliates, or otherwise appears exaggerated; what I write is the truth as I can best retell my story. (disclaimer to hopefully avoid this being interpreted as a troll or somehow otherwise encouraged advertisement). Everything I write is from personal volition and intended to shine a light where credit is due.

I picked up a 4/4 Rudy recently and, no doubt, was a very good example of this make. In tune, good condition, and that beautiful Rudy sound! (Back story: I'd earlier sworn off rotor horns but after my latest mouthpiece trek I'd come across Chris and his very own 4/4 Rudy [a brilliant specimen in its own right]. The work he did on his horn and how he got the rotors to respond won me over.)
Now I've found this great instrument and just want it looked over by a professional: linkage tuned, horn cleaned, etc. Chris being the nice guy he is, wonderful work on his own instrument, nevermind a repairman guru, I figured why not have him take a look? No joke: This instrument went from being great to, "Wow. Just wow."
So to thank him and hopefully encourage others to seek out his expertise, I can't but give Chris my most sincere thanks and the highest recommendation for anyone in the greater Cincinnati looking for an excellent repairman (a big plus that he specializes in tubas, too!).
I'm certain Chris is much too humble to boast or toot his own horn (no pun intended) but in a world of businesses simply trying to sell more with less personnel, and charge more $$, Chris is a standout. Kudos to him and many thanks for his work. I look forward to seeking out Chris and his advice for years to come!
Take care,
Austin
