It has been suggested that I compose a high school level composition for tuba and piano. Three Animations for tuba and piano musically represents the types of characters often used in animated movies. The movements are Ogre (moderate tempo with threatening sounds), Heroine (slow tempo and lyrical), and Hero (fast tempo and heroic). The piece is designed to be played by high school level musicians and would last about eight minutes. Cost of participation is $25.
