Bravo! The guy covering the euphonium (tenor horn) part talks about how Mahler wrote, "like the roar of nature" and, "with the greatest tone", above his part near the start of the symphony. He walks the walk too - he plays it that way! That solo is often times played in waaaay too 'pretty' of a fashion.

Metzmacher is a really great conductor of modern music - I'll bet this was a really good Mahler 7th. Thanks for posting this.
