Hello!
Anybody know where I can find a clean Cerveny Piggy I'll leadpipe? Or at least something that will substitute?

post a pic of your current horn. At som point they changed designs. I might be able to tell which one you have
They also are still available from cerveny
Here's a picture I took a while back...it's in Mark Metzler's hands for now...

Miss that Piggy! This was John Cradler's/John Stevens' old tuba. What's wrong with the lead pipe?

Do you have one that you're willing to sell, Mark?
I actually can't figure out the Cerveny website, do they tend to send parts?

Leak in the lead pipe from an old dent, and then apparently signs of red rot. Might have to replace the whole lead pipe.

Well, if you decide to switch them, I would definitely purchase it from you if you put it up for sale!
A shop can order parts from cerveny. Might take a few weeks (or longer) but it can be done
I have two leadpipes. I have the one that came on my horn, and a brand new one that I had put on because the the old one was a larger than a euro shank (Cerveny doesn't use a traditional receiver, it's built into the leadpipe) The new one is a different taper than the old one, and I've been thinking of going back to the old one. If I do, I would have the newer one for sale. not sure how long it would take the shop to change it out. I need to talk to them as see how busy they are

Yikes. I wouldn't have sold it to you with those issues if I had known. A well-used Piggy for sure.
