Solo Piece for this Semester

Hello fellow Tubists! As another semester begins I'm in the search for a new piece of reportoire to put together for my juries. I'm in my technical Junior year of my Music Ed major, and have played most recently:
Beelzebub
Andante and Rondo for tuba and piano
And another one I forgot.

Beelzebub was the most challenging and I passed my juries pretty well. Any suggestions for reportoire are welcome.

If you haven't done them yet, I'd highly recommend either Lebedev's Concerto in One Movement or Hindemith's Sonata for Tuba and Piano.

Having done my Jury pieces last semester, I would recommend the above and RVH's Studies in English Folk Song. They can be deceptively difficult, but they are very fun to play

Do you read down the octave very well?

If you do I'd recommend that you check with your bass-playing friends to see if they have Lucas Drew's edition of the Vivaldi Sonatas "for Double Bass" (Carl Fischer) Nice stuff. I've performed I, III and VI, and just heard a bass clarinet do one (uh... it's better on tuba!)

The Hindemith is very challenging for the pianist - even a really good one. If you've got chops and a fast tongue, why not start working up "Carnival of Venice" (with the support of a good teacher). For me, the Lebedev is a non-starter; dull as dish water. I like "Effie the Elephant" Suite, but it really needs a bass tuba (Eb or F) unless you have some SERIOUS chops on a contrabass.

I'm really old school, so I haven't kept up with what's out there.
