Gemeinhardt vs BMBI've read a lot on here about BMB tubas, and I know they are basically spun off from Gemeinhardt. My question is, are there any significant differences between the BMB tubas and the Gemeinhardt tubas.
Re: Gemeinhardt vs BMBAs far as I know, the name on the bell is the only difference between the two.

Re: Gemeinhardt vs BMBThey were branded Gemeinhardt before he spun off on his own. I have a Gemeinhardt 3/4 size BBB, which I absolutely love. It always cracks people up when I tell them what kind of horn I have.

If you go back through his blog archives, you can see how the basic design of these tubas moved from W. Nirschl to Gemeinhardt to BMB, including commentary on his various manufacturing locations. BBb Tuba with 4 Rotors - TE-2110 (Ask me anything about this tuba) + TE Rose Mouthpiece
