I was having second thoughts about playing a (3 day/2 night) festival this weekend... as part of a brass trio... where my playing will be hyper-exposed... and there is no drummer... and all of us are underprepared (especially the trumpet player)... and the pay is "break even" after travel expenses...
But then I saw this...

Ron Bishop had no problem being heard in a recent replay of a '67 radio broadcast of Shostakovich 10.

Is a Double Bass a large violin or a pair of fish?
Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

The Jimmy Buffett song claims margaritas are the frozen concoction that helps a person hang on to life.
For those of us office denizens, I would respectfully beg to differ.
Coffee is the steaming concoction that helps us hang on to life.

I keep thinking I should really have a tenor tuba - with nice rotars and all pretty bright silver plate.
