Just bought King 2350 and can't identify on which year was it made.
The serial number (133042) suggested, that it's made between 1930-1935, or on 1985.
Interesting thing is the simple engraving on the bell, which I haven't found anywhere else in photos on the internet.
Maybe you, guys, have some ideas about this sousa's origin?

Some photos:

Is that the COMPLETE serial number? ... or is there possibly a prefix?

Yes it is a complete serial. I've looked all around the sousa for other signs, but there is only this serial number without prefix and that unusual engraving.

KiltieTuba wrote:Probably made in Ohio around the 1980s. Lacquer looks too new and the bell is definitely not from the 30s. The valve caps seem incorrect too for that era.
It came without the neck, so I should seek for new type neck? Or old type of neck would fit also?
