This is related to my gig bag thread. I contacted Gard gig bags and they want to know specific dimensions of my newly acquired vintage Miraphone 186 which I don't have yet. Can someone with a vintage 186 (1960s-1970s models) measure their horn at the following points and post the results for me? Major thanks!

Not enough information, that only gives me the first two measurements they want. It's a start though!

I have tried to contact this company several times within the past year and they obviously did not want to do business with me. I would call and email. No returned phone calls and no answers when I would contact them. I gave up. Best of luck to you. I like their bags but I went another direction.

Anybody? If not on here, any recommendations on a store that might have one in stock? I already checked Dillon Music with no luck.

It's supposed to arrive Friday. I was hoping to order a bag today so I'd have that before my rehearsal next Tuesday. Not sure if it will fit in my 191's JW case.

Horn arrived today and I figured I'd post the dimensions on here just in case anyone does a search looking for them (Lord knows I couldn't find anything):

Bell dimensions: 16.75"
Overall length: 41"
Widest point: 21"
Width at lower bow: 15"

Thanks for posting them. My Mirafone 186 is a recording bell version so my dimensions would not have worked.
